Bud likes to capture moments in a reportage style, as well as make beautiful formal portraits. When a Bride spends thousands on a dress, hair, makeup and location it’s nice to have photographs that capture her at her most beautiful.
With his experience with fashion photography this is easily accomplished. He enjoys capturing every little moment, as it’s the essence of his style. He loves to capture emotion and it’s apparent in his work.
He has photographed weddings ranging from The Hamptons, Vancouver, Nantucket, Virginia, Bay Head and throughout New York City...
He learned photography on his own, then studying photography in Paris and New York City to learn finer techniques. Finishing off his apprenticeship he assisted major fashion photographers for several years including Chistopher Micaud, Rudolf van Domelle and Brian Edwards. As a photographer of events he’s freelanced for Fred Marcus Studios in New York City shooting weddings ranging from the Rainbow Room on top of Rockefeller Center to the Harvard Club to the Pierre Hotel. He has experience photographing church weddings and culturally diverse events including Jewish weddings, Asian and South American ceremonies.
Bud lives near the Hudson River in Garrison, NY with his wife and two children.
